Steve Friend – The Foundation

Steve’s journey began in the raw, vinyl-driven world of 1990s London techno. Digging through crates at legendary record shops like Black Market and Chocis Choons, he found his sound early on. His DJ career took off with gigs at iconic venues such as The Cross, Mint Club, Progress, and Love to Be. Known for his punk-meets-club style and genre-defying sets, he was featured in DJ Mag, Mixmag, and Ministry.

Steve’s defining chapter came in Ibiza in 1995, where he became a resident DJ at Pacha during the legendary Manumission era. Sharing the decks with DJ Pippi and appearing on Kiss FM with Judge Jules, Steve carved out a global reputation with his immersive, extended sets.

Joe Friend – The Next Chapter

Born in Colchester in 2004, Joe Friend grew up immersed in the rhythm of underground dance music. Surrounded by decks, records, and studio sessions from an early age, he naturally gravitated towards DJing and production. Inspired by artists like Chris Stussy, Max Dean, Rossi, and East End Dubs, Joe developed a sharp, groove-heavy sound rooted in tech house – crisp drums, deep basslines, and hypnotic rhythms designed to move crowds.

Joe’s forward-thinking approach brings a contemporary edge to the duo’s music, blending technical skill with a deep understanding of the current club landscape.
